Local parking spot is at the end of Jeffrey Mark Ct. which ends at a park entrance. West on Devonshire, left on Larwin, Right on Jeffrey Mark Ct. N34 15.401, W118 37.139 This end of the park gets little use. Occasional horse traffic, a few mountain bikers and hikers - so lots of critters can be seen especially at dusk. Coyote, skunk, road runner, owl, red-tail hawks, peregrine falcon (yes!) and various stink bugs, lizards and snakes. The site location has a great view of the valley on a clear day or night.There is a natural rocky overlook just off of an existing trail that hides the plastic screw-top paint container which holds goodies cradled under a very thin rock.
